An extension to file is not an extension to pay tax.

Alaska imposes no individual income tax, so there is no individual extension to request. For corporations, the Alaska Net Income Tax Act ties the state due date directly to the federal due date: a corporation must file its Alaska return within 30 days after the federal return is required to be filed. Because that federal due date already reflects any federal extension (Form 7004), a corporation that extends federally automatically gets a later Alaska due date - no separate Alaska extension form exists.
